CULTURE CONNECTS COMMUNITIES, Webinar organized by Charu Castle Foundation ,Ghaziabad (India) in partnership with in partnership with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO) New Delhi

 

We should learn, adopt and gain knowledge about other countries to understand their culture in this globalized world - Maldives Education Minister Abdulla Rashid Ahmad said, in an international webinar  on culture named as "Culture Connect Communities" organized by Charu Castle Foundation(Ghaziabad) India, in partnership with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO) New Delhi & CIOFF(R) INDIA.

He further added to understand the world, we have to know about its culture and every culture is superior to each other with its own characteristics, art, culture, language and ideas are close to each other. Knowing and understanding about more cultures bring closer to different cultures beyond boundaries.

 

Philippe Beausant – President of CIOFF International shared his views from France explained how our cultural events along with the spread of culture also promote brotherhood and peace, through cultural programs, he further added that We all get a chance to know each other and also exchange culture through Dance, Music and other ICH elements and that  continuous for long.

 

Dr. Prem Sharma, Former Director -Department of Language & Culture, Himachal Pradesh spoke  about music, dance, art, singing which are the pride of different regions of India, he considered music as an important part of the spread of culture. Sign language (Mudras), music also play a very important function to understand culture.

 

Speaking about the history of Indian culture, ADN Bajpai (former Vice Chancellor Himachal Pradesh University) said that India is a culture country, it has developed as well as in many areas, from Ved Yoga to the present. There is no match to Indian culture, in today's environment everyone should work together to promote it. He also said, that developed countries must come together and protects the rich culture of other nations

 

 

Kapur V Bhan, Founder Chairman of Charu Castle Foundation shared his views  focusing on heritage & historical buildings, temples,buildings of cultural importance, Indian culture diversified in all directions, specially in Mountains, Rural & urban areas that reflects the Art Culture,Music,Folk Dances & its traditions

 

Birender Kumar Joint Commissioner Industries,Ghaziabad (Government of Uttar Pradesh) said One  District One product (ODOP) scheme being run by Uttar Pradesh Government .

As we all know the Handicrafts and Traditonal products are the Cultural identity of any region and state , promotes the Artisians and bring the development to the area. This scheme is promoting Handicraft and ODOP is being spread all over the Uttar Pradesh that promoted the UP on world map. A very interesting ODOP film of Industries Department was also shown on the occasion, appreciated by all.

 

Kostas Ioanddis from Greece said that Culture can be promoted for generations by ensuring participation of youths in all activities, as the youths are the pillar of Future. Heritage need continuous transmission, protection & promotion.

 

Pawan Kapoor ,Gen. Secretary of Charu Castle Foundation & President of CIOFF INDIA (Official Partner of UNESCO)  said that culture connects the whole world and binds the different sections of society together in one thread, which fulfills the purpose of this program; no country can be recognized without its rich culture.

He further emphasized that we need to involve youths at very early age and need to appreciate them at most to be a part of culture in any way weather its performing arts, education or research.  

 Dissemination of Culture is not only through dance, music, singing but also by traditional costumes, education, food, customs, Handicrafts, exhibitions, cultural programs, Fairs & festivals, social & family gatherings are also an identity of any country Reflect culture.

UNESCO New Delhi has supported the Charu Castle Foundation for this program to promote culture; The online event has been seen in more than 100 countries.
